Agreement to these terms
LowScout is a financial software service operated by Kirolos Yacob ("LowScout", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms take effect on the date LowScout begins accepting paid subscriptions and replace any earlier version.
The service
LowScout helps you identify recurring charges and subscriptions and decide what to cancel or reduce. It analyzes bank and card statements you upload and, on the Plus plan, transaction activity from a bank account you choose to connect. It is an analysis and guidance tool: it does not guarantee savings, does not monitor your bank in real time on the free plan, and does not cancel subscriptions on your behalf — you perform cancellations yourself using the guidance we provide.

Information provided by the service is for general informational purposes only and is not financial, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your sign-in credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. One person may hold one account unless we agree otherwise.
Acceptable use
You agree to upload only documents you have the right to use, and not to upload other people’s financial data without authorization. You agree not to misuse the service — including no attempts to breach security or access other accounts, no scraping or automated bulk access, no reverse engineering except as the law permits, no interference with the service, and no unlawful use.
Plans and pricing
LowScout offers a Free plan ($0) for statement uploads and recurring-charge detection, and a paid Plus plan at $8.99 per month for continuous bank-connection monitoring. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes. We may change plan pricing or features; any price change applies to future billing periods, and where required we will give you advance notice and the chance to cancel before it takes effect.
Billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and automatically renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep Plus access until then and are not charged again. Deleting your account cancels any paid subscription immediately (see "Deleting your account and data"). If a payment fails, we may retry and may suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
Refunds
Because paid plans are billed in advance and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges, we do not provide automatic prorated refunds for partial billing periods. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund on a case-by-case basis — contact support if you believe you were charged in error. Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under applicable law.
Payments are processed by Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card and payment details are collected and handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy; LowScout does not receive or store your full card number. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms.
Your content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the statements and data you upload ("your content"). You grant LowScout a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. LowScout and its software, design, and brand are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws; these Terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the service as permitted.
Changes and early access
This is an evolving product. Features described as upcoming are not yet available, and available features may change, be added, or be removed. We will act reasonably where a change materially reduces a paid feature you are paying for.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete individual statements at any time, and delete your entire account from Settings. Account deletion is permanent: it cancels any paid subscription immediately, ends and revokes any connected bank connections, and deletes your uploaded files and the data derived from them, as described in the Privacy Policy. A limited, non-personal record that a deletion occurred is retained.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or to comply with law. On termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that detections or figures will be complete or accurate, or that you will achieve any particular savings.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LowScout will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost savings, data, or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and LowScout submit to the state and federal courts located in Georgia, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the version and ask you to accept the new Terms; your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
