How this works
An annual plan is paid up front, usually for a lower yearly price. The comparison that matters is twelve months of the monthly price against the single annual price.
The calculator shows the difference both ways and does not pick a plan for you: an annual plan only costs less if you would have kept the monthly plan all year. If you might stop sooner, the monthly plan can cost less overall.
